This is a letter of recommendation for K & B Coatings. We recently contracted with K&B Coatings for a full exterior repaint of our house in Tualatin, Oregon.  Ken and his crew undertook this task and performed admirably.

Our home is large with multiple levels with a variety of window sizes, the trim of which needed to be painted by hand.  The house was built in 1987 and was in need of an updated paint color.  After contacting several house painters, Ken Stephens, owner of K&B Coatings, took the time we were looking for and consulted with us on what would be the best value for our type of house and budget. 

Specifically, Ken gave careful expert advice in choosing the type of paint, color and method of application.  His very professional crew came in and prepped the house for painting, taking care to cover each window and our deck to protect the existing surfaces.  The crew arrived a few days later and painted the house in one day to minimize any inconvenience we might have encountered during the painting process.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the fantastic job you and your staff did on the chapel and attached house.  You were very conscientious and really took care of all the little details that mean so much to me.  I can't believe that you finished so quickly.  Your speed and accuracy without compromising quality, is amazing.  This was a tough building to paint because it is on a cliff, but you were able to do it with a smile while hanging upside-down.  Customer service is the most important thing to me and you exceeded my expectations.

Dear Mr. Stephens.

Thank you for the great job you did in repainting the trim on my home.  We determined that the previous painter (4 years ago, before I bought the house) did not use primer for the trim and it was starting to peel already!   It was driving me crazy and you and your crew came in, prepped and painted before I knew it.  On time and on budget!
